Critical Children's Rights Network open to new members

The Critical Children's Rights Research Network seeks to bring together scholars from diverse contexts to explore ways to advance critical children's rights studies. While originally being a closed group, membership is now open to all interested. Membership will be open to PhD students and academics who view themselves as coming from a critical childhood studies or critical children’s rights perspective. The group will comprise:

1. A mailing list for members to exchange information about events and initiatives and share ideas and resources.

2. The organisation of 3 online meetings a year which will bring together members to engage in discussions about pressing children's rights issues that have implications for research, teaching and policy/practice.

3. A newsletter distributed twice a year for members to share their children's rights updates with colleagues.

The group seeks to provide a friendly and safe space for the exchange of ideas. All members are requested to adhere to the group's principles of open exchange and dialogue, collaboration and support, constructive feedback, respect for the ideas and views of others, and not sharing any information that is flagged up as confidential or not ready for public consumption.
